LASHFRIDAYS FAQ's - Everything you need to know for beautiful long lashes

LashFridays lash enhancer improves the natural look of your eye area. The serum contains vitamins, peptides and antioxidants that help to stimulate, strengthen and nourish the lashes, leaving them looking longer, thicker and fuller in as little as 3-8 weeks, with the full effect in around 12 weeks. It is vegan, hormone and cruelty free.

Here we answer some of the FAQ’s about using LashFridays and we’ve included some useful information about the product too.

Q: How do I apply LashFridays serum?

Firstly, ensure that the eye area is clean and dry. Shake the tube well, remove the excess product from the tip of the wand by stroking it on the neck of the bottle.  Apply LashFridays serum to the lash line as you would an eyeliner, starting from the interior to the exterior area. Allow it to seep into your lash follicles. Let the product completely dry before applying eye make up. Do not apply to bottom lashes.

Q: How often do I apply Long Lashes?

Because you need to apply the serum to clean, dry lashes it is most convenient to use the serum as part of your morning routine. Consistency is key here, so a good way to remember is to pop your serum on before you brush your teeth. By the time you have finished brushing, the serum will be completely dry and you can then apply other products and make up. Apply every day for 12 weeks, and then apply every other day to maintain results.

Q: What if I have sensitive eyes?

Although the ingredients are gentle, some people may experience some mild sensitivity when commencing using LashFridays. It is usually caused by too much product on the wand so be sure to wipe the excess product from the tip of the wand on the neck of the bottle before application. We recommend usage every other day for sensitive eyes. It may take a little longer, but you will achieve results.  We recognise that lash serums may not be suitable for everyone. If you are sensitive or allergic to any of the listed ingredients, then LashFridays is not for you.

Q: When will I see results?

Typically, most individuals start seeing results within 3-6 weeks. Full results are achieved within 12 weeks.  Everyone’s results may vary based on factors like age, sex and application frequency. You may also experience varying results if, for example, you are taking medications.

Q: How do I maintain my long lashes?

After daily use of Long Lashes serum for 12 weeks,  we recommend applying the serum every other day.  For sensitive eyes apply the conditioner every third day and progress as sensitivity declines.

Q:  I wear lash extensions; can I use this product?

Yes! Because the product is applied to the skin and not the lashes, it will not interfere with the bond of the glue.  Be sure to wait 48 hours after your full-set or refill to allow the glue to adhere well and be completely dry. Many Lash Technicians recognise the benefits of using a lash serum with extensions.  By applying LashFridays daily, the vitamins will help strengthen and lengthen your own lashes to create a support structure to attach the extensions to, all whilst protecting your own lashes from the glue and weight of the extensions. 

Q: How long does a tube of LashFridays Serum last?

A 3ml tube of LashFridays will last approximately 3 months, when applied every day. Once opened, the formula will remain active for 12 months.  Unopened, a tube of Long Lashes serum is good for 36 months – the expiry date can be found on the base of the tube.

Q:  Can I wear contact lenses when using Long Lashes?

Yes. We recommend inserting contact lenses approximately 15 minutes after applying LashFridays. Alternatively, apply the serum at night after taking your contact lenses out for the day.

Q: Is LashFridays safe during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding?

LashFridays has not been tested in all situations; therefore, please consult your physician first.

Q:  What if I'm having cancer treatment?

Always check with your treating doctor first. We recommend you wait 6 months after your final chemotherapy treatment (if applicable to you) before using LashFridays as it may restrict the product from working to its full potential. We also suggest you start slowly and commence using LashFridays every second day, to ensure there is no sensitivity occurring due to the cancer treatment.

Q:  Is LashFridays hormone and paraben free?

LashFridays contains no hormones, parabens or any other nasties.

Q:  Is LashFridays vegan and cruelty free?

Yes! We can proudly say yes, yes, yes! 

Q:  Can I use LashFridays on my brows?

Yes. LashFridays may be used on the brows. The vitamins, peptides and antioxidants will also help nourish, strengthen and condition brow hairs, leaving you with thicker, fuller looking brows. Always keep in mind that if there has been any evidence of past trauma to the brow area, such as scar tissue, hair will not grow.

Q:  Is it better to apply LashFridays in the morning?

You can apply LashFridays morning or night, but when used in the morning the eye’s lacrimal glands are more active, sensitivity is reduced leading to a healthier experience with the product.

Q:  Can I apply makeup after using LashFridays?

Yes! You can use all forms of makeup after applying Long Lashes. Just remember that you first apply LashFridays to a clean lid and let it dry completely; at least 2-3 minutes. You can then apply makeup as usual, including mascara.

Q:  Are there any treatments available that will enhance my results after using LashFridays?

A Lash Tint will help to show off the new length and volume in your lashes. A Lash Lift, which also includes a lash tint,  is the perfect complimentary treatment to have whilst using LashFridays. We recommend using LashFridays for 4-6 weeks before having a Lash Lift, as increased length and volume will enhance the result.
