OMNILUX LED LIGHT THERAPY

ALL THE BENEFITS, NO NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS

LED Light Therapy is one of the safest, quickest and most affordable ways to achieve younger looking skin. It provides great benefits to the skin such as collagen stimulation, wound healing, bacteria reduction, hyperpigmentation correction and inflammation reduction. LED Light Therapy is a totally non-invasive treatment. It does not injure the skin and does not produce any harmful UVA or UVB rays. There is no downtime, no recovery time, no numbing cream and no harmful side effects.

LED Light Therapy triggers the body to convert light energy into cell energy by using specific wavelengths. By using ‘cell-specific’ wavelengths during treatment, LED can target problem areas for treatment.

WHY Omnilux™?

THE GOLD STANDARD AND MARKET LEADER IN LED LIGHT THERAPY.

Omnilux™ is the Gold Standard and market leader in LED Light Therapy, offering innovative and effective solutions in light only aesthetic treatments.

Omnilux™ has been developed to target specific cells within our skin which have light receptors, resulting in an increase in their cellular energy. Once these cells are targeted and activated, or switched on, they in turn activate and energise the surrounding cells. Omnilux™ utilises only beneficial light, such as infra-red and near infra-red, which is then delivered in a continuous dosage at the optimal power.

Omnilux™ was originally developed at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research back in the 80’s. Known then as the Paterson’s Lamp it was used successfully in the treatment of non-melanoma lesions. What they found was that not only were the lesions cured but the surrounding skin was greatly improved. In 1998 with funding from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, physicist Doctor Colin Whitehurst revolutionized photodynamic therapy, moving it out of the laboratory and into clinics. Doctor Whitehurst pioneered development of LED systems for more than 15 years with over 40 clinical studies. Omnilux™ Medical has been tested and is trusted.

Omnilux™ delivers pure, narrow-band light via a matrix of LED’s, carefully positioned to ensure a uniform beam, therefore ensuring complete tissue saturation. The scientifically designed, patent-protected light source is a medical grade device. There are two treatments with Omnilux™ currently available on our treatment menu:

Omnilux revive™ stimulates cellular activity. As cellular activity increases cells become more permeable and responsive to exogenous factors. Blood flow increases, leading to greater tissue oxygenation and detoxification. Skin appears clearer with less fine lines, is plump and hydrated.

Omnilux plus™ in combination with Omnilux revive™ stimulates the deeper skin tissue, leading to a softening of fine lines, improved skin tone and super smooth skin.

Omnilux revive™ can be used alone for primary skin rejuvenation and in combination with Omnilux plus™ for wound healing, psoriasis and for the reduction of periorbital wrinkles. (often referred to as ‘crow’s feet’)

The effect of active skincare products can be greatly enhanced when used in conjunction with LED Light Therapy.

THE EXPERIENCE OF LED LIGHT THERAPY
An LED Light Therapy session is both relaxing and calming. Even though this is a non-thermal (heat) light, you will experience a feeling of gentle warmth as the cells begin to energise. Although the light will seem very bright for the first couple of minutes, you will barely notice it when you start to relax. Your eyes will be covered with medical grade goggles. An Omnilux treatment session takes just 20 minutes.

Even after just one session you will feel and see a difference in your skin. For best results we recommend a program to achieve the most benefit. Your therapist can best advise you on a suitable program to address your specific skin concerns, but generally you could expect to have one to two treatments a week. Following the conclusion of a program you would then benefit by regular maintenance sessions.

It is compatible with most of our existing skin rejuvenation treatments and will greatly enhance the results achieved. The effect of your cosmeceutical grade home care products will also be greatly enhanced when used in conjunction with LED Light Therapy.

Omnilux™ LED Light Therapy will take your skin health to a whole new level.
